Recently I've been talking to a motorcycle tours company in South Africa and looking to set up a trip there in November. Please can I ask who would be interested in one of these tours?     Tour 1 – Cape Town to Johannesburg (4 000 km – 14 days) - 29 October to 11 November 2011 Route: CT – Cape Agulhas (southern most point in Africa) – Route 62 (little Karoo) –Garden Route – Tsitsikamma Forest (rest day) – Hogsback – Wild Coast – Oribi Gorge – St Lucia Estuary – Swaziland – Kruger Park - Lowveld – JHB Highlights: Lowveld Riding / Kruger Park sundowners evening drive / Swaziland / St Lucia Rest Day (wetlands visit) / Oribi Gorge / “Hogs” (inspired much of Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings) / Tsitsikamma Rest day (Canopy Tour) / Route 62 / Cape Agulhas (Southern Most Tip of Africa) / Ride into Cape Town (magnificent) / Cape Town and the Peninsula (reverse order from tour 2)   Tour 2 –  Johannesburg to Cape Town (4 000 km – 14 days) 13 to 26 November 2011 Route: JHB – Lowveld – Kruger park – Swaziland – St Lucia Estuary – Oribi Gorge – Wild Coast – Hogsback – Tsitsikamma Forest (rest day) – Garden Route – Route 62 (little Karoo) – Cape Agulhas (southern most point in Africa) - CT Highlights: Lowveld Riding / Kruger Park sundowners evening drive / Swaziland / St Lucia Rest Day (wetlands visit) / Oribi Gorge / “Hogs” (inspired much of Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings) / Tsitsikamma Rest day (Canopy Tour) / Route 62 / Cape Agulhas (Southern Most Tip of Africa) / Ride into Cape Town (magnificent) / Cape Town and the Peninsula.     Bikes: BMW GS series of bikes (650/800/1200 all current model and low mileage).  In addition there's the possibility to use a Can-Am Spyder motorcycle (reverse Trike) which are excellent for touring, very comfortable for both rider and pillion.   Possible itinerary...   Day 1 Johannesburg (fly in and overnight)  Johannesburg Lodging   Day 2 Johannesburg to Sabie (350 Km)  Johannesburg – Belfast – Dullstroom – Long Tom Pass - SabieDay 3 Sabie to Bush Camp (330 Km)  Sabie - Graskop – Blyde River Canyon –  God’s Window - Kowyn’s Pass – Hazyview - Bush Camp  Day 4  Bush Camp to Swaziland (375 Km)   Bush Camp – Barberton – Swaziland – Izulwini Valley (Swaziland)  Day 5  Swaziland to St Lucia Estuary (390 Km)   Ezulwini Valley – Zululand – St Lucia Estuary  Day 6  St Lucia Estuary (0km)   Greater St Lucia Wetlands National Park – Rest DayDay 7  St Lucia Estuary to Oribi Gorge (350 Km)   St Lucia – via Durban City - Coastal Ride – Oribi Gorge Day 8  Oribi Gorge to Port St Johns (300 Km)  Oribi Gorge – Port Edward - Bizana - Lusikisiki – Port St Johns Day 9  Port St Johns to Hogback (450 km)  PSJ – Mthatha – Butterworth - King William’s Town – Hogsback  Day 10  Hogsback to Stormsriver (455km)  Hogsback – Fort Beaufort – Grahamstown - Port Elizabeth – Jeffreys Bay – Stormsriver  Day 11  Stormsriver – Tsitsikamma Forest (0km)    Tsitsikamma Forest - Rest DayDay 12 Stormsriver to Route 62 (330km)  Stormsriver – Garden Route – George – Oudtshoorn – Route 62 Day 13 Route 62 to Cape Agulhas (310km)  Route 62 – Swellendam – Cape AgulhasDay 14  Cape Agulhas to Cape Town / Muizenberg (290 Km)  Cape Agulhas – Hermanus - Betty’s Bay – Gordon’s Bay – Cape Town   Map: http://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/bm/events/images/temp...SA/map.png   Photos... http://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/bm/events/images/temp...hotos1.png http://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/bm/events/images/temp...hotos2.png http://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/bm/events/images/temp...hotos3.png http://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/bm/events/images/temp...hotos4.png http://www.bikermatch.co.uk/sites/bm/events/images/temp...hotos5.png   Price: £2,990 (half price for pillions)

Please can those who can't afford it this year, let me know if 2012 (Feb/March?) would be better?  Still summer over there then and gives more time to save pennies.   Everything is an option right now.
