Many members on here met socially and now date and many just met to date.

hey mate welcome to the site.  It's largely about socialising here, not so much dating anymore.  Though there's still the dating aspect to the website for those who want it.   Get involved, go to the events and have a barrel of laughs (don't foget to take your camera for the events calendar!)

That's where Matt has us, if we remove our profile pics to make us more appealing we get a slapped wrist!  Lots of us on here just looking for mates/nights and rides out but if you want more then that's probably a better way to go about it anyway - you never know who you might meet

From my experience of the site it has both elements dating and social, but the others are right get yourself to some of the vents meet a few folk and within the 100s of new friends you make you may just find the one for you :)

Oh dear, FT, you're dead meat now that BJ has got you in her sights!   Seriously, a great many BM members who get out and meet each other are in the Midlands and the North. Nothing intentional about it, just the way things have panned out.   There used to be quite a lively group in the West Country, but I haven't seen much sign of meet-ups being planned. It just needs a couple of folk with a bit of energy to get the ball rolling - you can borrow Brummie Jackie and Rockchick123 if you want, but you've got to promised to keep then warm, dry and well-fed and to return them in the condition which you found them in!                                                                                                                                                                             

 With respect ....I do go to events & parties, mostly as a guest of one or two backpatch MC clubs, which I used to belong to. Taking photos (even private ones) would not be the done thing. The events list here doesn't cover things like the Gois show (August- mid Portugal) and the Pisshead mcc's pickled liver rally, which was on last weekend, in fact, most of what you list seems to be either up north or the more commercial rallies, only a small %age of what goes on in the south west seems to be on there.
 I read the "blurb" before i payed for my membership, dating was definitly a big part of it .... maybe it would be fair to mention that it is a secondary purpose of this site. I'm not disappointed with the site as a whole, neither am I completely stupid, so there's no need to patronise. I've been a biker more than 30 years, I will continue to use the other aspects of this site, but dating is what I was sold, therefore dating is my primary reason for being here.
 
                                                                                                                                                                             

FT your right folk tend to post events that they have heard of or are in their area, so if you know of any up and coming ones post them and i'm sure you will get a good response :)                                                                                                                                                                              

Hiya FL   Belated Welcomes to BM!  lol   Any events that are on the calendar are what members have put on. You can add events yourself, theres loads of rallies every weekend, as you know, but unless they're posted on the events, many people won't know about them.   If you want to send me or any of the other Mods the details we can see that they get posted for you.   Like Wills said, there did seem to be quite a few from the West Country and the south in general, who would have meets and even get further up North, but they seem to be less active lately.   Although the membership generally s growing all the time, perhaps a bit more 'advertising' down your area might get more southerners on board?   I and the other Mods and of course Matt, have BM cards that we can post to you if you want to drop some off down there?   As for the dating aspect, yeh course it's a dating site as well, if you like someone give them a nod, pm..and get chatting, just like any other 'dating site' but also its a great social site too...it all depends on what the individual wants, nobody can say its one or the other.   Hope you can get to some meets outside of the West Country too...and hope to catch up with you sometime.   Ride safe..and have fun   Karey                                                                                                                                                                                     

If I find out about any which are open to the public, I'll consider that Jackie & Karey. Likewise if people want to get to know me, I'll consider any invitations I get. I don't wear the backpatch anymore, but much of it is still ingrained, after all these years ..... I make no excuses for what I am ....lol

Miss - why not organise a nite out at Scallys or something one sunny evening - it's only a couple of hours away for us hobbits and if you can source a B&B that has secure parking for bikes then all the better                                                                                                                                                                              

Second that RC1965, Miss, if you organise something and post it, I will def get my butt there, so long as can get my head down at cheep B&B :)   Takes me a couple of hours going to a Brummy night out, but ALWAYS worth making the effort :)   Flat ...
