As I cannot ridestill (injuries not healed bah) all I can do is think and plot.  hehe   So would anyone be interested in a meetup in the Reading, Brighton  and Southampton areas?  April/May??.     I'm happy to suggest a date, location (and even a rideout route if people want).     Stick a post below (or pm me if you are shy hehe) and gimme a 'yeah why not' and I'll sort something/put something in events.     With all the members in the South there must be people up for a meetup

Hi there, I am up for a meet too, lots of places round here, plan to organise a ride down too Lepe soon, probably starting around the Meadows area (Camberley A30/M3 Junction 4) then down cross country via old A30 Stockbridge, Romsey, New Forest, Beaulieu then to Lepe beach cafe.   But pub meet is great, loads of good places and am sure there are loads of guys and gals around the south up for a night out too.   If I can help let me know.   acn

so how can they contact anyone (coz they cant PM either) to ask about events or express interest.   I certainly would want to post on the forum to ask for info and i do on other bike sites - I'd certainly want to 'try b4 I buy' or at least arrange to meet up with someone to ride in together, not everyone is confident enough to go on their own to an event and meet a large group of total strangers for the first time   Doesnt that also defeat the object of the whole idea of arranging socialising and meeting????   bit daft that surely???......      (and NO I'm not trying to be a pain,  just curious, and I'm more than happy to be politely corrected if my understanding of the site workings isnt quite right)

You can pm someone if they have pm-ed you already otherwise if they haven't then you can't....    Anyone visiting the site can view Events.....    To contact BM staff go onto Home page, scroll down and click 'Contact', then type your message, a member of the staff will then contact you.....   If you want to 'try before you buy' you can get a months membership at a time.  Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and turn up alone - I got in a car with strangers, some mates of Kays,  to my first ever meet and I never looked back....   hope this helps fella !   Nut

Surprises me that more people have not responded to this post, I have had loads of PM's from people 'darn sarf' complaining that there is never any rides out !!!

Hey Bubbly... I am in Hook...just down the road - in fact I drove through Alton yesterday! If you ever want a ride/coffee gimme a shout.   ZZ... happy to go on ride out down here in the souff.. I just forget to keep checking the forums these days, so if something is arranged, them could ya PM me so I get a warning in my email box?   My bike has been sick poorly and has been in hospital since she was ambulanced in on Monday night.... and then she failed the MOT on the tyres, SO.... Monday I should get her back, complete with a new battery, new MOT, serviced and two new shoes (which were extortionate, it has to be said!)... so after that I am freeeeee!!
