yet again the fantastic Valentino Rossi wins the moto gp, now i know we have have some cracking riders in the past Sheene,Fogarty,Schwantnz, Rainey,Hislop, Jefferies......to name a few.........but is there really anyone who would disagree that the mighty rossi is the best rider of all time !!!!!

I knew that this morning !!! Saw the after practice interviews ... know I am getting old now, said to Mr P that he didnt look old enough in his interview to even ride a bike

Ian - I think I would deffo agree with ya on that one! & yes I know there have been great riders in the past, but Rossi is just man & machine in perfect harmony (IMO) **sniggers @ Shell**

rossi has fully admitted three weeks ago that he would never race the TT, but he had so much respect and admiration for John McGuiness, this years winner, for which i thought fair play to rossi, with his talent he could be the most obstanant person and have no respect fpr anyone...just proves what a top champion he is !!!!!

Not only a great rider but also a great showman. Knows how to play to the crowd and keep the championship interesting. winning aint everyting if there is nobody left to watch. Look at F1 with Shumacker

To be honest I would say Mr Sheene. It it not just being able to got round a corner at speed in the rain. It is the whole package. Barry Sheene had some horrific crashed and just kept coming back for more. He was riding up to the bitter end but lost his final race against cancer.
