Cyber thieves attacked computers with more malware last month than the whole of last year.
They are now targeting social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace in their bid to get personal details to commit ID fraud, according to web security company Scansafe.
The hackers use malicious software such as trojans and worms to steal personal info from computers connected to the web.

That's why I don't use Facebook etc. People on this and similar forums who use their full name or something close to it as their on-line name are obviously lovely, kind and trusting folk, but there are some nasty beasts out there in the cyber-jungle waiting to pounce.

yea, facebook has your picture (Commonly a face picture) and your name... not much more needed for fake ID.
