Anyone got a tool to split the links in my old chain.                                                                                                                                                                             

Chain breaker / riveting tools are legendary for being expensive and then only lasting for one or two uses.
OEM chains - if it's the first changeout - are superb quality, and also legendary for breaking riveting tools.

If I'm honest, it's easier to ask a workshop Tec to do the job if you haven't already invested or have the facilities.
It may end up being better value for money.

ProBike list a tool that does look as if it's been made for the task - finally.
Tools for occasional jobs aren't cheap - and often take time to earn back their investment.

I use an angle grinder to remove the chain quick cheep and 100% effective.                                                                                                                                                                             

When I had the shop/workshop going that's how we did it Stuie, back in the "Old days" maybe you'd get away with a standard type press/splitter, but even then the rivet would often get "Stuck" in the roller once clear of the sideplate.
Cheap reviters aren't worth buying either IMO.
