How do you add a guest?

Hi
I know I'm probably being a complete dimwit... but I cannot figure out for the life of me how to add a guest when putting my name down for an event.Ermm
Help PLEASE......

I don't think there is a way unless guest is a member too! What sometimes happens (and I'll do this for the Squires Xmas do , nearer the time) is that a list will appear in the forums so we can copy and paste/add to and general collect numbers!
Hope this helps....unless someone has a better idea??
