New road safety campaign video

This makes my blood run cold. We have all been in this situation. Sadly the car driver just did not see the young man. My thoughts are with his parents. Lets hope it can make a difference by allowing this to appear on national TV.

Saw it previously via facebook.

Tragic loss and the car driver was obviously well in the wrong, but difficult to be 100% sympathetic having noted his very aggressive riding style considering the road conditions and traffic. Defensive riding is not just expecting the unexpected, but predicting the worst and having a plan B.

A great shame it takes videos like this to get the message through.

Nowt wrong with riding fast.

But , if ya base yer riding style on doing what ya want coz every other road user is going to behave perfectly.

you will end up in the shit!

I make mistakes on the road. Therefore I allow for the mistakes of others.

Barring 'red mist' days lol.
