how do you get to your last post?

I am quite new to this malarky so when i post in a topic, my post goes way down the line to the last post of so many posts...however when i check the thread it starts at the first post...how do i check if my post has been replied to without going from first post to last post on the drop down box?

If there's only one page of posts its no problem to scroll down the page to the bottom but if there's more than one page just click on the last page of posts for that that thread and then scroll down to the bottom of that page

I never click on the subject line - that always takes you to pages 1. I click on the last page and work my way back to where I last posted or read the thread. Hope that helps. Confused

some of the threads have hundreds of pages...you can't easily get to the last page unless you use the numbered drop down box. Thanks for your replies guys
