Popped over to France for a couple of nights with a mate (Honfleur) arrived at a hotel after a very wet and windy ride, booked in and went to put bikes round back, started mine and lots of horrible noise (cam chain tensioner gone west). Spent Friday trying to get transport to Rouen, managed it for Sat morn 450euros. 6 hours work on bike (no bent valves) replace tensioner (taken from another bike in workshop) oil change. Another 530 euros, bad weather conditions all way back, home 2.10am Sun. Could have spent Xmas somewhere hot full board for less, that's life!!   Till the next time.
