This is a thread to ask those deep philosophical questions that really need answering. My first one is: Why does my toaster go up to a heat setting of 9 when it incinerates bread on 4?

Why is the volume control on the telly or other Audio Device listed up to 50 or even more when your ears will bleed if it goes above 20?                                                                                                                                                                             

why, when this country is broke and we're all (all except the rich that is) suffering from cutbacks and low wages and lack of jobs     IS THIS COUNTRY GIVING MONEY TO OTHER COUNTRIES                                                                                                                                                                             

When it saws "free cash withdrawal", why do they deduct the money out of your account?                                                                                                                                                                             

As cats always fall on their feet and toast lands butter side up, what would happen if you strapped a slice of buttered toast to the back of a cat and dropped it?

Why is it when people ask you how you are, they don't really listen when you tell them.

in answer to your question about the cat and the toast tim..... if you put the toast on the cats back and the cat lands on its feet then clearly the toast is also going to land butter side up.... so no problemo.... that is of course unless you put the toast butter side down on top of the cat ...   in the pics of the "moon landing" where does the light come from that causes the shadows .... the spotlights in the hanger it was all set up in maybe....
