The Christmas Dinner is on Saturday 6th December, arriving at Toby Carvery from 6.00pm to sit down to eat at 7.00pm.
Anyone wanting to make a weekend of this event, there is a Travelodge next door. I would advise anyone wishing to book a room at Travelodge do so A.S.A.P as the price tends to increase closer to Christmas.
Unfortunately the cost of the 3 course meal at Toby Carvery has increased to £21.50 this year. I will be needing a £10 (Non-Returnable) deposit in order to secure a place for you at Toby Carvery.
I will also be needing your menu choices and deposit or full payment as soon as possible so we can make a confirmed booking at Toby Carvery. We have until Saturday 15th November to get get the booking confirmed.
For payment of a deposit or full amount, please P.M either DAVE VM or Tinkytinkerbelle for the bank details. Will you please reference your payment with your BM site name so we can keep a note of who has paid thanks.
On Friday evening we usually meet up in the bar at Toby Carvery for a few drinks & banter.
MENU
Starters.
1.CARAMELISED ONION & SHALLOT TARTE TATIN (V)
Caramelised Onions & Shallots in a golden pastry, topped with goat's cheese.
2.Cheesy mushrooms.
Baked Mushrooms in a cheese sauce, topped with melted cheddar and served with ciabatta garlic bread.
3.Chicken Liver & Brandy Pate.
A velvety smooth Pate, served with sweet fig relish and toasted rosemary focaccia.
4.Prawn Cocktail.
Juicy Prawns, crispy cos lettuce and rich seafood sauce, served with wholemeal bread and lemon wedge.
5.Red Pepper & Tomato Soup.
Served with toasted rosemary foccacia.
Mains.
1.Spicy Butternut Squash Tart.
Butternut squash and red onions in an open shortcrust pastry, topped with goat's cheese.
2.Cheese,Potato & Leek Pie.
Potato, Onion & cheddar in a creamy sauce, encased in a golden pastry.
3.Salmon, Dill & Prosecco En Croute.
Salmon & Dill in a Prosecco & White wine sauce encased in golden pastry.
4.Festive Carvery.
Various Roast meats. Help yourself to a selection of vegetables etc.
5.Vegan Carvery.
Please let us know if this is your option, then we can arrange for vegan gravy to be served.
Puddings.
1.Dairy Ice Cream.
Served with your choice of Strawberry, Toffee, Belgian chocolate or Lemon sauce.
2.Lemon Blizzard Sundae.
Dairy ice cream topped with crunchy meringue pieces, cream &Lemon sauce.
3.Chocolate & Cookie Dough Brownie.
Served warm with cream, Strawberry & Salted Caramel sauce.
4.Christmas Pudding.
Served with either Custard or Brandy sauce.
5.Toffee Apple Crumble.
Sweet Toffee Apple crumble served with cream, dairy ice cream or custard.
