Hi Guys
I am thinking of buying a honda VFR 800, went to see the bike and its in good nick, but later when looking back through the photos of this bike i noticed that with the ignition turned on but the bike not running the oil light was not lit, is this normal or should the oil light stay on when the bikes not running
Many thanks in-advance.
Double six
Oil light should be on when not running but it could be something simple like a blown bulb. Ask the vendor to put it right, if it is nothing worse than the bulb they won't mind sorting it. If it is something more sinister then walk away.

How could you tell it wasn't running on a photo?
