Go try a maxiscoot Spesh, you know you want to :-)
But you've got to try one to understand them, expect it to take a while to get your head round the left lever doing something different.
The 600's have considerably more go than the 300 machines and are best as out of town bikes, the 250/300's are better in town traffic busters.

I commute 40 miles per day on a KTM 690 smc, not wide so easy to filter, can do 60 mpg, single is quite sharp off the mark too. If you take the occasional detour on B roads, very entertaining!
