Well the Hallowistmas do is that weekend, which is only down the round, maybe something could be arranged for a mass gathering

    Things have come a long way since my first "show" experience   I think it was the "Racing & Sporting Motorcycle" SHOW   Sometime in the late 60's or early 70's   At some "Horticultural Halls" somewhere in London   But it was packed with people & bikes & bits   A whole lot better than todays offerings   A heck of a lot cheaper* too     We went down on a coach from Barnsley & took our own food & drink which saved a fortune even back then    But there were bargains to be had there, lots of "real" things @ half price or less   Not cheap nasty promo tat or "show specials"   So I can see how you might be disappointed Yeti     *even taking inflation & devaluation into account, the relative cost was a fraction of the current charges

sorry I only just realised you`d asked !
I`ve been to NEC a fair few times over the years (a few , aahem, years)
and sometimes, its just the same old same old on so many stalls, and traffic from the north east to there is never light!
I think I`ve also only ever had one dry ride down!
 
but, having said that, there are usually some cool/interesting folk there
(had a long chat with nick sanders last year) and it is possible to get some "bargains" if you keep your head,
and at the very least sit on some nice bikes ha ha                                                                                                                                                                              

i`ll be going either 28th / 29th November due to being off work 
fingers crossed it`ll be a lot less busy hoping people are at work haha
